Multicultural cities

 

1 SNAPSHOT

Many people decide to live in a different country.  Your book gives you information about immigrants who move to New York City in America, London in England, Sydney in Australia and Toronto in Canada.  Find these places on a map and think about what it would be like to live there. Look at the list of countries in the circles. Do you know where all those places are?

3. GRAMMAR FOCUS:      The past tense

Listen to the examples carefully and complete exercise A.

 

Revise the formation of the past tense. Use your grammar book and look at the irregular verb table at the present and past forms in the appendix at the back of your course book.
